Cleantech Markets as an Opportunity for Start-ups

Cleantech markets are international: Borderstep is therefore, together with the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), putting together an international network. Its purpose is to decrease barriers of entry and increase access to green key markets and funding opportunities for start-ups and SMEs.

This includes a multi-country Landing Pad Program which provides infrastructure and mentoring for start-ups seeking international expansion. Both organizations will jointly employ a member of staff who will further expand on the program and network.

On March 5 and 6, 2015 Borderstep and LACI was co-hosting an international workshop on the EUREF Campus in Berlin. The workshop brought together partners from Europe (Germany, Finland, Italy, Norway, UK), Asia (China, Japan) and North America (Mexico, USA) in order to further develop the joint menu of activities.
