Innovation Communities: Development of Radical Innovations

InnoCo_logo

The goal of the joint Innovation Communities (InnoCo) project was to work out the role played by innovation communities and their contribution to successful processes for the emergence and diffusion of fundamental innovations.

Theoretical and empirical research provided the basis for formulating a concept for establishing and developing innovation communities, which is to be transferable to various sectors of the economy and fields of application.

Working in collaboration with partners in the fields of carbon nanotubes, photovoltaics, and ICT solutions for residential buildings, Borderstep identified and developed powerful methods and tools for supporting innovation communities.
