Hannah Roepke

Hannah Roepke supports the Borderstep team as a student assistant in the research area of Sustainable Entrepreneurship, focusing on the Score4Impact project.

Hannah is currently completing a master’s degree in Life Cycle & Sustainability at Pforzheim University. Her studies focus on life cycle assessment and interdisciplinary sustainability assessments. This includes socio-economic, environmental science and technical assessment methods.

Previously, Hannah completed a bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Tourism at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Here she acquired knowledge of tourism economics and dealt with possibilities of a sustainable orientation of the tourism industry. She gained practical experience in the areas of destination marketing & sales.

The participation in the Startup Summer Camp 2022 at the University of Applied Sciences Pforzheim, organized by GründerWERK and INEC – Institute for Industrial Ecology, rekindled her enthusiasm for the startup industry and strengthened her interest in the areas of sustainable innovation and sustainable business management.

In her free time, Hannah likes to be active and tries her hand at various sports, such as squash, bouldering, Zumba or yoga. She is also enthusiastic about occasional hiking trips in nature.

Time alone is best spent with a good book or her watercolor paintbox.
