Julia Frantsits

Julia Frantsits works at Borderstep as a research assistant in the field of Sustainable Entrepreneurship. Since January, she has also been a doctoral candidate at ESCP Business School in the field of Corporate Sustainability. Julia’s research focuses on the interface between business and environmental impact, in particular the impact of corporate activities on biodiversity.

In 2024, Julia completed a Master’s degree in International Sustainability Management at ESCP Business School. Her master’s thesis focussed on the status quo of corporate biodiversity measurements and practices in the Austrian industrial sector.

Prior to this, Julia completed a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Her studies focussed on the topics of international and cross-divisional management. Her bachelor thesis focussed on the consideration of sustainability aspects in the construction of the new campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

She also worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Corporate Sustainability at ESCP Business School Berlin and gained experience as an intern in sustainability consulting.

Julia Frantsits is particularly interested in the intersection of sustainability, business and environmental impact. The impact of companies on their environment is already very extensive. Julia would therefore like to help ensure that this corporate influence has a positive impact on the environment.

Julia likes to spend her free time singing and reading books on personal development. She also enjoys exploring Berlin on foot and listening to true crime podcasts.
