Minying Feng, Student Assistant

Minying Feng

Minying Feng supports the Borderstep team as a student assistant to the public relations department.

Minying Feng is currently studying for a master’s degree in linguistics at Humboldt University of Berlin. Both her studies and her experience abroad have provided her with a global perspective on culture and society. She also likes to juggle with words, a skill that served her well in her previous work as a translator.

She gained her initial experience in public relations, working for the local students’ union at her home university of Sun Yat-Sen and during an internship with the communications department at Siemens in Guangzhou, China.

A native of China, she loves good design and, as a digital native, knows how to use the Net creatively. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Berlin’s green corners.
