Pioneers and Instruments of Change
The fundamental processes of transformation and innovation addressed by Borderstep require both powerful analytical and explanatory models and methods for successfully analyzing and shaping processes of change.
Basing its work on basic theories of evolutionary economics and interaction economics, Borderstep examines key actors in transformation, drawing on powerful key-actor concepts such as the promoter concept and the innovation community concept.
Borderstep was involved in the development of key methods of transformation and their use in applied research, e.g., innovation workshops, scenario techniques, integrated and cooperative roadmapping, scenario-based business model development, business model innovation, environmental assessment, innovation coaching, network and community development, and market potential studies.
