Edible City: Sustainable Entrepreneurship Workshop

Founding an edible city initiative: First steps to kick-start your entrepreneurial journey

  • June 26, 2023 | Online

Do you want to develop a solution for supporting sustainable food production and consumption in your city? In this workshop, you will learn about the most important first steps to take as an aspiring edible city entrepreneur. Next to receiving insights into sustainable business model development with the Edible City Solution Canvas, you will be able to take inspiration from good-practice examples of successful edible city solutions and business models.

Explore your strengths, values, and goals

The interactive session is designed to help you focus on the essential elements to get started and work out your vision, sustainable value proposition and define your customers or target groups. In small groups, you will be guided to explore your strengths, values, and goals – the foundation of any entrepreneurial endeavour. You will then have the chance to discuss and verify what you have developed and identify necessary next steps on your entrepreneurial journey, together with EdiCitNet partner Borderstep Institute (Klaus Fichter and Thomas Neumann) as well as like-minded individuals from the EdiCitNet community.
