German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC), San Francisco
Borderstep and the German American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco (GACC West) are collaborating on diverse projects centered around cleantech.
Together with GACC Borderstep initiated business tours on energy-efficient data centers, energy efficient buildings and water technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises from Germany with the objective to initiate contacts and market opportunities at the West Coast.
Focus is on exchanging experiences with US companies, financial institutions, the business development community, and other actors.
GACC West concentrates its work on future-oriented industries such as renewable energies, smart grids, e-mobility, and IT. The organization serves as point of contact for all companies with an interest in doing business in the US, and provides a broad range of services. GACC West also hosts business and political delegations in order to bring German decision-makers and American partners together, and thus enhance bilateral exchange between Germany and the US.
