Network for Global Innovation (NGIN)

In collaboration with the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), Borderstep is developing a network for global innovation network and working on a “green innovation bridge” connecting the US, Germany, and Europe.

The Network for Global Innovation (NGIN), is expanding joint initiatives and contacts and accessing new markets for green technologies.

Reciprocal Landing Pad Programs
Each NGIN partner will offer a program to facilitate entry into their market. The Los Angeles Landing Pad Program, offered by LACI, includes providing office space, access to mentor, investor, and advisory networks, assistance with personal affairs such as housing, and more

Investor, Technology, and Customer Showcases
NGIN will convene an international summit at least once a year. The 2nd annual Cleantech Global Showcase (glosho.org) attracted over 550 attendees, including local, state, and federal officials, professional investors, industry thought leaders, and successful entrepreneurs from over 9 countries.

Commercialization Best Practices and Services
NGIN is a network of premier innovation institutions willing to share best practices. For members who want to either increase the effectiveness of their existing program or start a new incubation program, LACI offers turnkey satellite development consulting services

Global Online Delivery Platform
NGIN members will have access to a software platform that will help accelerate commercialization and will match investors and investment opportunities in seed, growth, and project finance stages
