US exchange students at the Borderstep Institut

Borderstep hosted a lecture about financing and funding opportunities for green startups in Germany

  • 2017, Berlin, Germany

On the 10th of October, Borderstep and senior researcher Linda Bergset hosted a lecture for US exchange students who are participating in the FU-BEST Program of the Freie Universität Berlin. The program includes one semester of an intensive and diverse study abroad experience with FU’s mission of educating responsible, global citizens.

During the visit at the Borderstep Institute, the students learned about financing and funding opportunities for green startups in Germany as well as opportunities on an international level.

FU-BEST is a semester program offered in a Fall and a Spring semester. Our mission is to educate responsible, global citizens by linking high-quality academic instruction with a broader international experience. We aim to provide an intensive and diverse study abroad experience through combining three essential elements: German language instruction, a varied menu of subject courses, and the concept of the “extended classroom”.
