Study of international climate technology transfer

A new report by the Borderstep Institute for Innovation & Sustainability for the first time provides a coherent overview of German products and services in the area of international climate technology transfer.

The study on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) systematically measures the offerings by German actors in the areas of climate protection and adaptation.

The results show that German vendors are well positioned in a range of areas within climate protection and adaptation. There are numerous products and services in energy and resource efficiency as well as water and waste management deployed worldwide.

The results of the report were presented at the 20th UN World Climate Conference COP20 in Lima, Peru.
